Auckland

Auckland is the centre of the biggest polish community in New Zealand. There are several polish organizations acting in the Auckland region, amongh them the Polish House, The Polish Heritage Trust Museum and The Polish School "Mała Gwiazdka". A Honorary Consulate of The Republic Of Poland is also located in Auckland.

Andrzej Pikul is one of the most eminent Polish pianists and pedagogues. He graduated from the piano class of Prof. Tadeusz Żmudziński (Kraków) and Prof. Paul Badura-Skoda (Vienna) and had participated in many masterclasses such as those led by A. Jenner, V. Perlemuter, G. Agosti, T. Vasary.

The Auckland Polish Association (APA) is an active, charitable community organisation dedicated to promoting Polish culture, history and language with the aim of uniting all those interested in things Polish. 

The APA organises many events for everyone to enjoy. We believe in gathering people together across generations.
